| Camping is common
for those floating the Eleven Point River and the US Forest Service
maintains public campsites at various access points along the river as
well as more secluded campsites accessible only by river. Primitive
camping is also permissible along the banks of the river. We offer free tent-camping at our shop to customers floating with us and also have hot showers and firewood available for small fees. For those wishing to forgo the outdoor experience there are several other lodging options in Alton or the surrounding area available for reasonable rates. |
