Camping and Lodging

Camping is common for those floating the Eleven Point River and the US Forest Service maintains public campsites at various access points along the river as well as more secluded campsites accessible only by river. Primitive camping is also permissible along the banks of the river.

We offer free tent-camping at our shop to customers floating with us and also have hot showers and firewood available for small fees. We are now the proud owners of Cottage Overnight Lodging, click on our logo below for the Details and Rates

For those wishing to forgo the outdoor experience there are several other lodging options in Alton or the surrounding area available for reasonable rates.

Cottage Overnight Rentals

The Eleven Point Canoe Rental has recently purchased Cottage Overnight Lodging and now has the privilege of providing lodging for our customers in four nice cottages in Alton.

These cottages are all within 1/4mile or less from the Eleven Point Canoe Rental. Many of our customers have been staying in these wonderful cottages for years and we are happy to be able to now offer a one stop shopping experience for our floaters and fishermen. The cottages are also great places to stay for hikers, hunters and anyone else visiting the Alton area. During the “slow season” we also can rent the cottages out for extended stays for construction crews or anyone else that needs lodging for a couple of weeks to a couple of months

Each cottage has a full sized kitchen with all the dishes and utensils needed to cook meals. They all also have satellite TV and laundry facilities. If you don’t want to cook, there are restaurants very close by as are the gas stations, grocery store, shops, video store and of course, the Eleven Point Canoe Rental.

Cotton Cottage
	The Cotton Cottage has 2 ½ baths and 3 bedrooms with a king, queen and twin beds. The cottage also has a fully equipped kitchen, Satellite TV, laundry and linens.

Rose Cottage
	The Rose Cottage has one bath & three bedrooms with a queen, full and twin beds with laundry facilities. The kitchen is fully equipped. All linens are provided. This house also has Satellite TV, free WIFI, and a deck.

Ivy Cottage
	The Ivy Cottage has two baths and three bedrooms with 1 queen, 1 full and twin beds. This cottage also has a full kitchen, deck, laundry facilities, Satellite TV and free WIFI,

Cane Bluff Cottage
	The Cane Bluff Cottage is a 2 bedroom one bath cottage that includes a full kitchen, laundry facilities, Satellite TV and linens.

Rates: April 1- Oct 31 $65 for the first 2 people and $10 for each additional person Pets are $10 extra (cleaning fee) with prior approval. Nov 1-Mar.31 $55 for the first 2 people and $10 for each additional person Pets are $10 extra (cleaning fee) with prior approval. A Master card, Visa or Discover card is required to hold a cottage. More than a 72 hour notice is required on cancellations to avoid being charged half a rental rate. Cancellations less than 48 hours before your stay will be charged the full rental fee.
