The Eleven Point River Canoe Rental offers canoe, kayak rentals for floating the only national scenic and wild
river-way in the Missouri Ozark Mountains. This designation means no
development or building is allowed along the banks of the river and this
holds true until close to the Arkansas border. The Eleven Point River
remains floatable year round and offers the most pristine natural
environment of any Missouri float stream. The river abounds with wildlife for you to experience while winding your way through the Mark Twain National Forest. Mink are common companions for floaters and it is not uncommon to run across otters, beaver, blue herons, deer, and a variety of fish species. |
|
| The upper reaches of the Eleven Point River are best
floated when rain has been relatively frequent, but once Greer Spring
enters, the river changes dramatically in size and becomes floatable year
round. Greer Spring is the second largest spring in Missouri and is a sight to behold. Greer Spring also marks the beginning of the Blue Ribbon Trout Area and extends to Turner Mill access. From Turner Mill to Riverton Access trout are stacked regularly. As you float the river places of note include Turner Mill, Boze Mill, Greer Spring, and White’s Creek cave. There are many spots along the river that will inspire you to get out of your boat and explore. The numerous springs that feed the Eleven Point River keep it running cool and clear, providing a comfortable atmosphere even on the hottest summer afternoon. Please accept our invitation to experience the unparalleled beauty of the Eleven Point River by canoe or kayak.
