Directions:
From Memphis -
Take I-55 north from I-40 for 16 miles to US 63 north. Take 63 north
through Jonesboro, Hardy, Mammoth Spring, and then on the north side of
Thayer, Mo look for Mo hwy 19 north to the right. Turn right on 19 and
travel 16 miles to Alton. We are at the intersection of hwys 19 and 160
at the 2nd blinking light.
From Jonesboro, AR. - Follow the Memphis directions
starting at Jonesboro.
From St. Louis
- Take I-44 west to St. James, Mo. Take 68 South to Salem. Go right
(south) on hwy 19 and follow all the way to Alton, Mo, crossing the
Eleven Point river about 8 miles north of Alton.
Alternate route-If you prefer straighter roads
here is an easier drive that is a little longer. Take I-44 to Rolla.
Take 63 south to West Plains. At first light, go left on 160 and then be
sure to carefully follow the 160 signs until you are out of West Plains.
Travel 30 miles to Alton. We are at the first blinking light.
From Springfield
- Take hwy 60 east to just past Willow Springs.
Take 63 south to West Plains. At first light, go left on 160 east. Be
careful to follow the 160 signs until you are out of West Plains. Take
160 30 miles to Alton, we are at the first blinking light.
From Kansas City
- Take 71 south to hwy 7. Take hwy 7 to hwy 13
south to Springfield. From there follow the Springfield directions.
